We design and organise individual exposure
and dialogue programmes (EDPs) in accordance with the
goals that have been agreed upon in advance with the participants.
We are particularly interested in the potential for the
replication of innovative solutions in different countries
and in the systematic evaluation of lessons learned from
our partners.
Exposure and dialogue programmes can take
the form of further
training and can, for example, be directed towards
making participants aware of and guiding them towards
specific tasks of poverty alleviation.
For politicians, on the other hand, knowledge of the legal
and political conditions under which self-help can play
an effective role may be more important.
Prominent individuals from banking or business circles
are more likely to focus on the innovative potential and
entrepreneurial skills of their hosts, whilst for representatives
from the churches it is ideas for their pastoral work
and for learning within the universal church that are
of interest.
We also organise EDPs in which decision-makers from the
countries in which they take place (so far India and Bolivia)
are included and where concrete local issues are taken
up.
